Technical Support Product Specialist NeoSCI, a division of School Specialty Science is a leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of interactive software and hands-on lab investigations for the science education market. Working in collaboration with educators, School Specialty reaches beyond the scope of textbooks to help teachers, guidance counselors, and school administrators ensure that every student reaches his or her full potential. We are seeking a technical support product specialist who will be responsible for supporting Neo/SCI® and Frey Scientific proprietary products in the natural sciences (elementary, middle school, high school and junior college level), troubleshooting and otherwise supporting customer inquiries regarding products and curricular application uses (experiments), and working closely with Customer Support and PD engineering associates to resolve product issues and clarify part specifications for our proprietary products. This individual would also share technical expertise and support with our Sales and Marketing associates regarding the provision of on-line support / instruction (product webinars) and/or product presentations on a “as needed’ basis. Candidates should have a strong and broad science teaching background. Bachelor’s degree in a natural science required. Master’s degree preferred. Teaching experience, preferably at the AP level is a strong plus; requires broad knowledge of science apparatus application (life science, earth science, physical science) along with significant technology experience (good knowledge of computers, Audio Visual interfaces, and presentation software).
